How Are Good Topics For An Easy Persuasive Paper For A 7th Grader?
How Are Good Topics For An Easy Persuasive Paper For A 7th Grader? What are good topics for easy persuasive paper for a 7th grader? It depends on what you ask the student. And this comes back to a very simple point. As a teacher, your job is to help the student discover his or her own interests and passions in life. But are there a few things that are not part of your students' own passions? It sure seems that way. I have known too many students who seem to be interested in doing exactly what I tell them to do. They love to roll up their sleeves and get right down to work. If you want your student to have a strong background in the subject matter, you must help him or her discover his or her own passions. The best way to approach this question of how are good topics for easy persuasive paper for a 7th grader is to find out what the student actually wants to read about. This means asking what subject he or she is most interested in. In the case of an English language, it might be about a novel by Lauren Oliver. Or perhaps a chapter from the book called 'Matters of Review.'Try to find out what the student's passion is in particular subject. Once you have that information, then you can make sure that he or she gets that information in your paper. I have found that the best way to do this is to include brief vignettes about what the student loves in each subject.Make sure that the vignettes are not boring, and make sure that they have a practical application in the real world. The vignettes will make the reader curious about what the student finds interesting and will make the writer eager to share that information with the reader. In addition to learning about the student's passion, you also need to see if that student has any knowledge of the topic at hand. That is, do they know the subject well? If so, they have more than enough information to include in the paper. And if not, then they need to get some references for the information they are including. Finally, you need to learn about the student's abilities to communicate. And you must learn if he or she is confident or unsure. The better they are at communicating, the more believable they will be as a writer. If the student is confident, then the readers are going to take that as a signal that the writing is likely to be excellent. These are all the steps I used to teach my students how to write an easy persuasive paper for a 7th grader. By learning about the student's interests, passions, and abilities, we can better equip our students to write persuasive pieces.

there will come soft rains Essays (199 words) - Greek Mythology
BASTILLE-ICARUS Ooh Look who's digging their own grave That is what they all say You'll drink yourself to death Look who makes their own bed Lies right down within it And what will you have left? Out on the front doorstep Drinking from a paper cup You won't remember this Living beyond your years Acting out all their fears You feel it in your chest Your hands protect the flames From the wild winds around you Icarus is flying too close to the sun Icarus's life, it has only just begun It's just begun Standing on the cliff face Highest foe you'll ever grace It scares me half to death Look out to the future But it tells you nothing So take another breath Your hands protect the flames From the wild winds around you Icarus is flying too close to the sun Icarus's life, it has only just begun This is how it feels to take a fall Icarus is flying towards an early grave You put up your defenses when you leave You leave because you're certain Of who you want to be You're putting up your armor when you leave You leave because you're certain Of who you want to be Icarus is flying too close to the sun Icarus's life, it has only just begun This is how it feels to take a fall Icarus is flying towards an early grave

tax on junk food Essay Example
tax on junk food Essay Example tax on junk food Essay tax on junk food Essay Yes The federal government needs to stop paying attention to all the food lobbyists and do what is right for the American people. Cheap fast food and many unhealthy foods that contain unhealthy products are subsidized by the govt. The government needs to make healthy fruits and vegetables cheaper so that the average American can afford to spend their money purchasing real food instead of food that will ultimately lead them to obesity and a life on medication. Sin taxes already exist on unhealthy items; it can be extended to unhealthy food. Sin tax is already widely applied to many substances, such as alcohol and tobacco. Food containing absolutely no nutritional value, or food that is quantifiably unhealthy, should also be subject to these taxes. By making the unhealthy food more expensive, healthy food will be cheaper in comparison, which would result in more people choosing more healthy food options. Yes, taxing fast food and similar food products would create additional incentive for consumers to eat healthier. But it would also penalize some poor people. Taxes do seem to affect consumer behavior. Witness the decline of smokers as a proportion of the population over the past few decades, from a prevalence of about 45 percent to perhaps 20 or 25 percent today (a great public health victory). There seems to be little question, furthermore, that fast food, based on fat, poor utritional content, and other factors, carries risks that can contribute to obesity and other chronic health problems. But those consumers who continue to purchase fast food, out of habit, preference, or convenience (insofar as fast food producers do not offer many healthier alternatives), will be penalized, and many of these consumers are poor. This option should therefore not be ruled out, but it should not be the only policy option on the table, nor should it be implemented in a cavalier fashion.

Description of implementation and its issues Essay
Description of implementation and its issues - Essay Example Expert review is a way of testing usability, by bringing experienced experts who specialize in usability testing on board, in order to evaluate the usability of an interface. When one or more human factors experts are involved in evaluation of an interface, this is referred to as Heuristic evaluation of usability Audit. The experts who are included in the evaluation are charged with the responsibility of measuring the usability, effectiveness and efficiency of the interface founded on Jakob Nielsen definition (Heuristic Evaluation par 1). Nielsenââ¬â¢s Usability Heuristics, which have persistently developed in reply to new devices and user research, include consistency and standards; visibility of system status; error prevention; flexibility and efficiency of use; recognition rather than recall; help and documentation; user control and freedom, aesthetic and minimalist design; help users recognize, recover and diagnose from errors; and match between system and the real world. User- based evaluations User-based evaluation methods involve identification of representative tasks, representative users, and designing of a procedure for identifying the problems that users face while attempting to use a certain software product in their undertakings. During the development, testing, design stage of software development, the two types of usersââ¬â¢ evaluations that are performed include formative evaluations (used to gather information for design) and summative evaluations (used to document efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction of a product). Model-based evaluations A replica of the human information processor has been designed founded on information drawn from psychology research regarding humanââ¬â¢s memory, perception and cognition system. This model has integrated capabilities of long-term and short-term memory, together with capabilities of human audio and visual processing. Also included are times for cognition motor processing and processing. Th is model allows interactions of human- computer researchers in order to evaluate user interfaces on the basis of the modelââ¬â¢s performance. Tools for evaluating information systems Questionnaires For a long time, questionnaires have been used to evaluate user interfaces (Root and Draper 87). They can be used in paper form or electronically (for example surveymonkey.com). Different questions are designed to specifically evaluate components of reliability, validity, and usability of the User Interface (Tullis and Albert 317). Currently, there are multiples of online survey services that can be used for this purpose, including survey monkey, KeySurvey, WebSurveyor, QuestionPro, and Free Online Surveys. I will do further research to identify the best survey services to use. Choice of questionnaires is mainly motivated by their ease of grasping of many people and the power of showing many audiences. Checklist Although many checklists are designed for assessment of hardware, they can also be used for software assessment. The checklist that will be used in evaluation of user interface will be based on a simple concept. Each design principle will be featured as an individual entry in the list. To indicate weighing of importance, a space will be indicated after each entry, followed by a space to indicate approximation of compliance. The last space will include notes on whether remarks have been made to allude to definite design deficiencies or any other related information. The evaluation of checklist will be based on evaluation of User Systems Interface. There are six general functional areas of USI design that will be covered including data entry, design, data display, user guidance, sequence control, data transmission, and data protection. Report III: Final description of system issues and solutions Why is it important to understand who are the stakeholders and their interaction with the user interface? Understanding

1. HR Task Overlap and the New World of Work 2. Relationships Matter - Assignment Example The headquarters are in Charlotte, North Carolina. To start with, Bank of America mission statement defines its marketing position in comparison to other banks. It focuses its members of staff on a precisely defined target market. This strategy is employed by other retail organizations too (Bank of America). Their mission statement is focused towards coming up with affordable products for their customers and it reads: On the other hand, Wells Fargo mission statement is different from that of the Bank of America. It is centered on profitability and getting the highest financial obligation and the highest amount of money from their customers this is in a similar fashion to all other retail businesses. The mission statement states: "We believe our customers can save more time and money if ââ¬â after carefully shopping around and comparing choices ââ¬â they bring all their financial services to one trusted provider." (Wells Fargo Bank). There are clear differences between the mission statements of the two companies. While the Bank of Americaââ¬â¢s mission statement focuses on helping low income earners, Wells Fargo mission statement concentrates on improving its profitability. It is clear that the Bank of America clearly defines its niche in the market showing that profitability is not its main area of focus. On the other hand, Wells Fargo has not clearly defined its niche (Ireland and Hoskisson, 2014). It is clear that the company targets customers from all walks of life owing to the fact that their main goal is on maximizing profitability. There are minimal similarities between the mission statements of the two entities that state however, it is clear that both are concerned about the welfare of their customer although it is in a different way.
